Turmeric contains numerous beneficial compounds, including curcuminoids and sesquiterpenes. Many of the beneficial actions of turmeric are purported to be due to antioxidant and regulatory mechanisms exerted by its primary active component curcumin. In addition to boosting antioxidant defenses, studies suggest curcumin has beneficial effects on glucose regulation and heart function.

Suggested Use

Adults: 2 capsules, 1 to 3 times daily with food or as directed by a healthcare professional.
