Notes about Ozonated Glycerin (Also known as Glyzine)
- Glycerin is a humectant that easily dissolves in water and penetrates cells, including skin.
- Ozonized glycerin is more stable than ozonated water, but less stable than ozonated oil.
- People are finding benefits for skin and other uses as directed by a physician.
- If you ozonate glycerin at home in the presence of air there is a risk of contamination because air is mostly nitrogen.
- To get pure Glyzine, you want to get it from a trusted vendor that ozonates it in a pure ozone-oxygen environment.
- You want at least food or pharmaceutical grade. The cheapest glycerin comes from petroleum sources, which can have harmful contaminants.
- Various uses of ozonized glycerin require it to be sterile. It is not possible to sterilize glycerin after it has been ozonated.
What is Glycerin?
Glycerin is a sweet tasting, odorless, colorless, non-toxic liquid. It is classified as a sugar alcohol with a chemical structure of 3 carbon atoms, 8 hydrogen atoms, and 3 oxygen atoms. Our certified organic glycerin comes from organic sunflower oil, organic flax oil, and organic coconut oil. It is USP grade for top quality results.
Ozonated Glycerin
In theory, glycerin has the potential to generate more oxidative potential because of its structure. It is believed to be converted to a tri-peroxide when ozonated.
During production, PurO3 uses a special manufacturing process that incorporates 99.9% oxygen, ultra-pure ozone, and a special mixing process. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality, USP grade, organic ozone-infused glycerin.
