ProbioMed 50 (30 caps) by Designs for Health

ProbioMed™ 50 is a high potency, shelf stable, dairy-free probiotics formulation containing 50 billion CFU per serving. It consists of ten of the most highly researched probiotic strains, with each strain and specific CFU count being fully disclosed. These are robust strains that are capable of surviving the harsh journey to the intestines and are able to attach to the intestinal walls, where they can grow and function effectively to support GI health. The survivability of the strains is further assisted by delayed release technology as well as unique moisture-resistant, desiccant-lined packaging. Reformulation:

Probiotic Blend change from 279 mg to 350 mg

The order and strain dose, strain number of each probiotic strain has changed

The other ingredients changed to:  Capsule (hypromellose, gellan gum, water), microcrystalline cellulose

In Other ingredients: vegetable stearate, silica are removed

Dietary Considerations

Recommended Use: Take 1 capsule per day with a meal or as directed by your health-care practitioner.

There has been a minor probiotic strain update to the ProbioMed line. The current Bifidobacterium longum (UABI-14) strain will be replaced with Bifidobacterium longum (BI-05), which is the same strain originally in the formulations.  

This adjustment was necessary due to ongoing testing challenges with the UABI-14 strain. By reverting back to the Bifidobacterium longum (BI-05), we can reduce the risk of backorders and ensure consistent product availability for our practitioners and their patients. This update will not affect the quality, efficacy, or clinical outcomes of the product. Thank you.
