  Polyenzyme therapy is widely used in Europe and other countries. Current day, the value of enzyme supplementation is becoming more recognized in the Unites States. Vascuzyme includes blended high potency enzymes with the addition of two well known flavonoids, rutin and Quercetin. Studies have shown that taking enzyme mixtures for sports related injuries and post operative swelling have reduced swelling more quickly compared to those not taking enzyme therapies. In vitro, animal, and human studies have also shown that some enzymes are capable of breaking down immune complexes, known mediators of inflammation.
